American Girl Rebecca Picture!
- Here's the official picture of the new historical American Girl coming out either later this month or next month. Rebecca Rubin will be the first Jewish doll to be part of the series.
Karate Kid Movie Remake Details
| Have you seen the 1980's hit movie "Karate Kid" starring Ralph Macchio? Did you hear they are remaking it with Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan? It's not due out until June 11, 2010 but some details of the movie have recently been released. While the main idea of the movie will be the same as the original, this version takes place in China. An American teenager, played by Jaden Smith, moves to China with his mom and finds it difficult to fit in. After being bullied, he meets up with Jackie Chan's character who teaches him how to defend himself. Sounds pretty good! |
Visit Disney's Christmas Carol Train Tour
| According to USA Today, Disney is doing a 40-city train exhibition tour to promote "Disney's Christmas Carol" due in theatres November 6. The train will include four cars of interactive fun which will be available to the public for a few days at each stop. The best part is it is FREE! The tour starts Memorial Day Weekend at Los Angeles' Union Station and ends October 30 at New York's Grand Central with stops at a variety of locations in between. American Girl Rebecca
Here's a small little picture of what the next American Girl doll, Rebecca (the new Jewish doll coming to the collection) will be looking like. Many of the customers who are signed up with American Girl to recieve e-mails got this picture in an e-mail that was sent out either today or yesterday. The real Rebecca is scheduled to come out this summer.

First American Girl Rebecca Picture!
- Here's a first look at the new American Girl doll, Rebecca Rubin, coming out this year. She is technically "replacing" Samantha Parkington. She is a Russian Jewish immigrant living in a row house on the lower east side in New York City in the early 20th century. She dreams of being an actress but her family has other ideas.
